St. Louis, Missouri (April 25, 2018)- Spring is the best time because it is when you start to plan your outdoor activities and how you will spend your summer. Creve Coeur Lake Park is a place with tons of history and plenty of activities for the whole family to enjoy. Since it is the largest park in St. Louis County, you will never expect to run out of things to do and see. Take the kids to one of the several playgrounds or spray fountain areas to play, or pavilions to eat lunch. Whether you enjoy fishing, tennis, archery, running, disc golf, or sand volleyball, Creve Coeur Lake Park has something for everyone.
The boat and bike rentals are now open for the summer season. Guests can rent canoes, kayaks or, paddleboards to explore all the lake has to offer. Being out on the water gives visitors a chance to see a different side of the park that they wouldn’t have noticed from the long, asphalt trail that surrounds the lake. If the water is not the place for you, take the journey around the lake with rented a bicycle or quadricycle.
Another popular activity open for the summer is the Go Ape! Treetop Adventure. Climb through the trees like “Tarzan,” sliding down the thrilling ziplines. This is an obstacle course that leaves challengers dangling and swinging from the rope course in the trees of the park. This amazing adventure is currently available on the weekends as well as Mondays but will open full time at the beginning of June.
